Add More Diversity & STEM to Our Class

Help me give my students more diverse books that will be in our room at all times. Extra seating for our cozy area and library will help make it cozier. A magnet design center will encourage STEM in Construction.

My Project

With the addition of a Magnetic Design Center to our Construction Area we will be able to utilize the magnetic STEM toys that are in our room but can't be used at this time because of the lack of magnetic surfaces.

The books in my cart are to make our classroom books more diverse, I go to the library regularly, but the requested books can stay in our room to be used with the library books.

Adding more flexible seating to our room will give more seating space in our cozy area and library area. We need a rocker chair for our cozy area.

My students are amazing, they are asking about ballerinas, science, and space, among other topics. I chose some books that cover some of those areas and some other books I hope they will able to see themselves in and what they can become when they grow up. Because, why can't they be a dancer, a scientist, or an astronaut? They can be anything they put their minds to be.
