My Students

I am a first year teacher in an elementary school special education class in Manhattan.

My students will be back in person in the classroom after being remote for more than a year due to the pandemic.

I want to give my students the opportunity to see the world in color.

My Project

My goal is to enhance the educational experiences of the students in my classroom. Color printing can support creativity and innovation in our classroom. Color is naturally engaging for all learners, and provides a bridge between the digital and print worlds.

While color improves the educational experience for all students, it can be transformational for my students with learning disabilities.

Color can be used through many methods to make educational materials more accessible to these students, including the practice of reading with color transitions.

Color can also help the mood of students in the classroom.
