Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A majority of our speech students struggle to communicate their basic wants and needs. The use of removable and transferable vivid pictures will allow children a realistic way to communicate their basic wants and needs during therapy and classroom activities. These materials can also be used during parent training to allow students to be communicative at home with parents and friends.

A binding machine, binding spines, velcro dots, and laminating pouches will allow us the ability to create individualized communications books, sheets and mats for our non-verbal or limited language children.
