My Project

All of our students deserve the opportunity to create as artists in an environment that is tailored to them and their needs. This year I have worked to transform our art room into a usable space for all students including our essential skills programs. With the help of donors, the opportunity to offer more flexible seating will allow our students in essential skills programs to create comfortably in the art room. Shelving will aid students independence as they freely explore art materials. An additional table will open up more space for students to make art independently and with their peers. With donors we will be able to create an environment where all students can safely explore and students will have greater success in the art room.
