Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are each assigned a specific colored tape. With this tape, we can identify leveled folders for each student's independent tasks.

With lamination, folders, and velcro, we can make task folders that my students will be able to complete independently.

This increases their self-esteem and shows them they can do something without help. Most of their lives, they have learned and completed tasks with help from adults. In their independent task stations, they will be able to complete individualized, independent tasks. These could be errorless, match, or identification. These tasks vary in levels and rigor and help these students accomplish tasks they never thought they could.
