My Students

In my adapted physical education preschool class, we always start off with stretching. My preschool students enjoy going over body parts. And they love to imitate action figures. Then we move to the main lesson. Giving them a chance to play activities with the right tool is priceless.

In my adapted physical education preschool class, all my students have disabilities.

Some are diagnosed with autism, and some with intellectual disability. Some are able to walk independently, and some use a walker or wheelchair. Some students have average gross motor skills, but most of my students have very poor gross motor skills. All my students come from very low and poor socio-economic back ground. Because of their background, often my students do not get to participate in certain activities like golf. All my students do not know what golf is and they have never seen golf clubs or games. The school that I teach is located in a middle of very poor neighborhood. I think that introducing life long activities from early age can be beneficial in many ways.

My Project

In my adapted physical education preschool class, my special need students will learn to hold the putter for the first time. The putter size is small and is designed for little ones. Also, they will learn to swing a putter. Students will have higher success rate of hitting balls since balls are really big. Since there will be a big target on the ground, students will have a target to hit a ball and they will learn to control their strength to to hit a ball to the right direction.

I am very sure that your donations will make a difference in students' life.

All my students live in a poor neighborhood, because of that there are certain activities they do not get to play. I just want to express my gratitude toward DonorsChoose for giving me a chance to expand my teaching opportunities as well as students' learning experience. You are helping them to grow as next generation's golf player. Even more so, you are helping them to learn life long activities.
