My Project

I am a special education teacher at a low socioeconomic school. I work with students who require individualized and specialized instruction in a small group setting in math, writing, and language arts to access the general curriculum. In addition, my students are concrete learners and enjoy using manipulatives and performing hands-on activities. My students learn best when they are actively engaged in discovery during the learning process. My students are struggling learners. Having hands-on materials and activities to teach writing skills, math and reading will make learning exciting for my students. The math and vocabulary grammar bingo, Splash Math, and other vocabulary games will make a difference in increasing student participation.
