Active Learners: Flexible Seating in 6th Grade

Help me give my students flexible seating in my classroom. My students love to sit around the room and they would be excited to choose a high top table, coffee table, or lap desks to work at!

My Project

I want to create a comfortable learning environment for my students. Many of my students are very active and love to move around the room as they work. These items will make a difference in students' learning by giving them more comfortable and efficient places to work.

My goal for this project is to give students more seating (and standing) options in my classroom.

My students often work in small groups and need more space to work. Items like the standing table and the coffee table will give them a larger work surface to effectively work with their group. Many of my students prefer to work on the floor so items like the lap desks will help them complete their work as they are comfortable.
