Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of our students are immigrants new to the US or come from low income households. Often they are not exposed to varied ways of moving your body to keep it healthy. I have a passion for teaching kids fun but effective ways of maintaining their health through positive body movement. A bulletin board in my gym says "Find your passion, find your strong!" because I want to teach kids that there are many activities available to them and they each can find their own strengths and passions in life. These items will help me create fun, engaging PE games to keep our kids active and get their wiggles out so they can learn other things the rest of the day! We also have kiddos who need adapted options and things like lower basketball hoops are a great help to them!
