Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are kids who are from East LA. They are a part of the 99.9 Hispanic are at our school and aspire to leave the lower socio-economical status they are in. They aspire to be doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyers and much more. They want to learn how to better themselves and reading is one step of that.

Each student has a goal to reach that encourages them to read various genres of books between their reading range and ability.

They are challenged to read books that give them the opportunity to branch out of their comfort zone and progress to being college-ready!

My Project

These sports materials will allow for the ACRMA#8 Physical Education students to learn new sports like Badminton, Volleyball, and Pickleball. The storage racks and ball racks will allow for the students to learn to take care of their equipment and learn to put things away.

The Physical Education students will utilize, enjoy, and love this equipment since we are returning to to campus after more than a year and a half away from in-person school!

The Physical Education students will be glad to play new sports and learn how to be responsible with new equipment after a year plus away.
