I teach high school students in a high-need community. We spend our class periods learning Algebra, Geometry and Statistics.

My classroom lacks the supplies to visually display math. We can not physically measure and calculate angles and lengths without the necessary tools.

We need markers, colored pencils, and pens to draw the mathematical concepts that we are practicing. Compasses, protractors, and rulers will help us measure the world around us. Large post-it notes can help us display our work to the world. A few posters will also inspire my students.

Your support will make it possible for my students to stretch their creativity and enrich their minds. The ABCs of math will be filling my classroom and the halls of our school.
