My students would greatly benefit from having a printer to correct and display their outstanding work.
My 4th and 5th grade students have been using a variety of online tools to draft and publish essay, create digital drawings and digital posters across content areas.
They acquire literacy skills and technology skills in the process of completing their work. Having a classroom printer would make it easier for me to print their drafts, give them feedback, have them self- correct their work and edit the drafts of their peers before printing a final work.
My Project
The printer will allow my students print their drafts, correct mistakes and print quality of work assignments. It will support my students improve their thinking and writing skills. In a world that requires citizens show literacy skills, my students will have the opportunity to print their work and look for areas to be edited and make corrections before printing final copy.
My students welcome the learning and show pride when they complete a challenging task that requires them push their reading, writing and artistic skills.
It makes them smile when they hold their outstanding finished work and show it to others. Having a printer in class would help elevate their writing and artistic skills.
