My Project

My goal is to create a positive learning environment where my students all feel safe and motivated to learn every day. Our school is working hard to create a safe and diverse environment for students with multiple needs. Having a variety of learners with different needs means that some students may require different tools to be successful. All these items will be individualized to meet the specific needs of students.

These items will help my students manage their emotions, calm their bodies, and focus, to be able to access the curriculum and feel safe and included in the classroom.

By donating to my classroom, you will provide the necessary equipment for students with extensive needs to regulate behavior. Many of these tools will be accessible to all students in our school, and housed in a sensory room. These spaces are especially beneficial for students with sensory processing disorders, autism, ADHD, and other special needs. They can also serve as a refuge for any student seeking a calm and soothing atmosphere.
