My Project

Nearly half of the students in my 4th-grade class speak Spanish as their first language, and many of them don’t have access to books in their home language. These students are eager learners, but without engaging texts that they can read in Spanish, they’re missing out on opportunities to strengthen their literacy skills and deepen their love of reading. This project will help bring a collection of high-interest Spanish books into our classroom—books that will not only support their learning but also affirm the value of their language and culture.

By donating to this project, you’ll be helping me create a more inclusive and supportive environment where every student can see themselves reflected in the books they read.

These Spanish-language texts will provide my students with tools to grow as readers while encouraging pride in their linguistic heritage. Your support will make a tangible difference, empowering these young learners to thrive. Thank you for considering supporting us on this journey!
