My Students

Pre-K for all is now something that most of the children in the community will be a part of. It is an important part of a child's learning process and provides solid stepping stones for their success in the future.

The students that are beginning Pre-K, will be excited to be coming to school, some for the first time.

They have a lot to share, are eager to learn, want to be a part of the school community, and want to be challenged in all areas. We as educators would like to provide a learning environment that has materials to capture the interest of all students and help them to grow, play and learn.

My Project

We are trying to promote student independence and make it easy for the students to keep their own supplies separate and available for them to use during the day.

Establishing routines and independence in the classroom makes a big difference in the flow of the day.

The students can get their supplies easily when needed to use for some of the daily activities such as signing in, art projects, drawing, and writing.

These chair pockets will hold many of their supplies, they don't have to use separate baskets and will still have art supplies available to them in the art center.
