My Project

I would like to build a more welcoming and accessible classroom for my students by providing them with materials that are specific to their needs. With these materials, I can create a welcoming classroom environment, provide essential materials they need to learn, and create a more accessible classroom for my students with disabilities.

Having access to a variety of fidgets that offer a variety of sensory inputs helps my students to be successful.

They are able to learn about their own sensory needs and what they need to be successful.

For some of my students, the overhead fluorescent lights can cause headaches, eyestrain, and sensory overload. Having their needs met with flexible, sensory-friendly lighting supports my students' emotional regulation, sensory regulation, and productivity.

Some of my students also struggle with executive functioning, and having a planner and to-do list templates that are appealing and engaging helps me to help them get their assignments organized.
