My Project

During COVID, it was extremely difficult to connect with my students who have visual impairments. Having physical manipulatives that are adapted for their unique needs helped ease the stress I felt as a teacher, as well as the stress the families were experiencing. Each student has their own needs, so multiples of certain items have been requested so they can be personalized for each student who needs them. The materials on my list, he wiki stix, Judy clocks, and base 10 manipulatives, will help me provide better service for my students in Alaska by providing them materials that can be adapted for their individual needs.
