Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach the most wonderful Life Skill students at our school. What I have realized throughout the year was due to limited mobility, and impacted speech and vision, they have challenges with the small desks and all that we keep on our desks. It is hard to see my students constantly having to take time to stand up when they drop everything. The organizers I am asking for will allow my students to keep their school materials organized and on their desks, rather than having to put everything on the floor. These materials will help my students talking devices, learning materials, and visuals from continuously falling all over the floor and interrupting learning time. These items will allow them full accessibility and equity in the classroom to keep their items with them and secure so they can continue to grow and be stars!
