This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a group of incredible students that strive to grow every day. Many students face a barrier of reading the grade-level material when it is not digital. One pen will be specific to one student that has dyslexia and the other pen will be used for 6th graders who are below grade level.

Eliminating this barrier will give students the ability to complete assignments in all subjects independently!

C-pen scanners are a type of assistive technology to assist students with reading deficits. This device is able to read printed material and store the material within the pen.

Multi-sensory learning is popular among students who have a reading deficit. This pen will give students the ability to listen to what is being scanned while tracking the text.
