My Project

The books included in this donor choose are books that are adapted for different learners. These books are high interest decodable chapter books and books printed in the dyslexie font.

Many books for struggling readers are books that look like they are for babies which can be very discouraging to older students.

This will give these students access to more interesting text; chapter books that they can practice reading. This will help foster their love of reading and encourage them to keep trying. Books printed in the dyslexie font are extremely helpful to children who are learning to read that have dyslexia. The font is weighted at the bottom helping them to track and sound out the words. These books will be a great asset to the students in my class.
