Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will ensure that my students will be successful learners.

I teach a 12:1:1 special education class where all of my students have special learning and/or social/emotional needs.

Therefore, these materials specifically cater to the individual needs of each of my students. The peanut ball would provide flexible seating for my students with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. The peanut ball would help them concentrate and focus during classroom lessons and independent work. The trapezoid table would be used for small group learning. Due to the fact that all of my students are on varying levels in each subject, it is most effective when I cater to each of their levels through teaching in small groups throughout the day. The table would allow me to meet in groups of 2-4 at a time.
