This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items that I am requesting for my special education project would benefit their focus and attention to specific tasks during instruction. The noise-cancelling headphones allow my students to block out any noises around them so that they can focus on their assignments. The fidgets will be used as sensory items to calm them down when they are feeling overwhelmed or anxious. My goal is to assist my students in reaching their academic goals by providing them with the tools and materials that they need. My students are special to me because I see the potential in each of them to succeed in their academics and beyond. They try their very best to be successful in everything that they do, but without the proper tools and materials, they are falling behind.
