My Project

Methodically planning and organizing are game-changing skills rarely taught to young students, especially those from marginalized communities. I teach Language Arts to two classes of third graders, who are full of both wonder and insight. I will direct and support my students' use of these planners to help with their stress management and time management. This will set them up for success for the school year.

Studies support how student planners increase students' productivity and reduce their stress.

They ultimately feel empowered by knowing what is expected of them and what they expect of themselves.
