Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten focuses on learning and mastering letters and their sounds with the hopes of creating CVC (3 letter) words. Students at this age need constant visuals and manipulatives to keep their brains engaged and thinking.

These games and manipulatives will support students in independently learning the sounds letters make, how to match them together, rhyme them, build words, and learn the spelling of sight words with the support of pictures.

Students will receive teacher support through whole group and small group lessons and then apply what they have learned in these activities with the help of their classmates.
