My Project

These materials will help develop my students into more confident readers and writers. Writing is a very difficult to skill to learn. Most kids learn to talk and develop a good vocabulary. However, using the brain to put those sounds and letters down to make words can be extremely difficult. These materials will allow them to build, construct and manipulate basic consonant - vowel - consonant words. The magnetic building materials will help create creativity through fun activities. The books will foster a love for reading and classroom community.

Building community in Kindergarten is such a unique gift and these materials will assist in doing just that.

All of the reading and writing stem tools will be stored in convenient bags to allow quick access throughout the day. Growing these early reading and math skills will build confident learners for years to come.
