My Students

My students walk into the classroom excited and ready to learn every day. Everyone of them is unique in their own way. Each student has a disability and they are in a self-contained classroom. They come from a variety of economic and cultural backgrounds. They enjoy every aspect of school whether it is mastering a new skill, interacting with other students and teachers or just being together in their classroom singing and learning.

My students work hard every day and do so with smiles on their faces.

They take great pride in everything they do. They continue to inspire me every day and making teaching so much fun.

My Project

The carpet I am requesting will be a great accessory for our classroom. My students love to play learning game on the carpet by identifying numbers, letters and letter sounds. They enjoy sitting on the carpet during story time. Some of my students are in wheelchairs and the carpet gives them the opportunity to sit on the floor with their friends and enjoy games and stories.

The carpet will enhance my students learning through fun activities.

It will help improve letter and number identification with the students being able to sit on a different number and letter given to them each day. They will love the carpet and always want to do different activities on it.
