Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is for preschool manipulatives for learning how to read foundational skills. It will help our students get excited about foundational reading and writing skills, as they engage in collaborative learning in groups and also one-on-one with the teacher.
We have students who are 2,3 and 4 years old who prefer hands on learning and tactile exploration.
The uppercase and lowercase matching, writing skills by tracing on dry erase boards will be beneficial for fine motor skills and letter recognition and formation. Students will also be able to recognize and practice their sight words to prepare them to be strong readers.
