Help me give my students rich and fun learning activities through Alphabet focused centers! Please give them the opportunity to touch, feel, say, and play with different lower and uppercase letters to solidify their knowledge of the alphabet.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Traditional paper and pencil to learn the alphabet is not enough to meet my students'needs. They benefit from a lot of repetition without making learning boring; what better ways than to provide diverse and fun centers with various strategies to look and learn the alphabet.
"Disability is not inability" - My little learners can do so much, given the right tools, time and a lot of patience!
I would like to use these fun centers to reinforce their academic skills through play.
I ultimately want them to learn while having fun. Our objective is to recognize & name letters as well as say their sounds in a snap! I want them to think, search and see letters at every center. My students are on different ends of the spectrum and benefit greatly from learning through play. Whether using lacing cards, beads, puzzles or flash cards, please help me keep learning meaningful.
