My Project

Our project asks for several books from the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and Burma. We are asking for different books from these Southeast Asian countries to teach students about these cultures during AAPI history month in May.

With the rise in Asian hate incidents occurring in NYC, we hope to ensure that students are educated in the many different ethnic cultures within the Asian community.

Our classroom already has some East Asian books - so we would like to expand our collection to learn more about other countries that are not represented.

If we want to break the ignorance associated with Asian hate, we must come together as a community to educate our students about different cultures. I hope that you can support our project!
