My Students
My students are active learners from different backgrounds and with different needs. They are a young bunch, and need constant engagement to keep focused and willing to learn. Kindergarten is the age when kids begin exploring their academics with excitement!
With the right resources, we can create a learning environment in which all types of learners can benefit.
In kindergarten, most teachers are faced with the difficulty of having a very wide range of learners. When teachers are given tools to enhance their lessons, the possibilities for learning grow.
My Project
We are always using visuals to help us learn about multiple concepts in Kindergarten, as some of our little learners absorb information best when taught with graphics and photos!
I'm requesting a Sony Alpha camera, lens, a rechargeable battery, and battery charger.
There is always a need for a camera in school, and we use photo memories to revisit concepts taught on field trips when back in the classroom. Photographs are invaluable for enriching curriculum and engaging students, and also good for communicating with families when they can not participate in school as much as they want due to work or restrictions beyond their control. By posting and sending photos of their child's day, they can feel more a part of the school community.
