My Project

Our students come from low-income neighborhoods with diverse backgrounds, cultures, and lack of opportunities, where visual and performing arts experiences are few and far between. We have a passionate arts department where our students take part in music, art, and dance classes and we want to build up our musical theatre program to encompass all of those skills.

Our students are so excited to perform and be part of this program so our goal is to make musical theater in our building sustainable and keep pushing ourselves to give our students this wonderful offer for after-school enrichment!

With these resources, our art department and stage crew can create costumes, props, and set designs to bring the feel of Aladdin to our very own stage. It is always such a magical moment to see the auditorium and performers transform during the last week of rehearsals and it creates a core memory for our students to be part of something so special.
