My Project

The majority of this project is centered around building our classroom library. The students and I love AR time....it's their chance to read what they want to read at their independent level. It's their chance to show off and apply their learning, relax, and enjoy a new book or two! The more books students have to choose from for independent reading, the more they get to love reading! The variety keeps them coming back. Kids come in at all different reading levels, so books are set for the kinder to 4th grade level.

Also, I am moving into a new classroom with a bunch of amazing 2nd graders and am looking to fill it with symbols and reminders of peace, love, kindness, and happiness.

My goal is to set up a peaceful, loving, happy, beautiful experience for these kids!

Any help to set up a warm and positive environment for these great kids would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
