My Project

Reading has countless benefits, as we all know. Children can develop cognitively, academically, creatively, and socially through it. As a result of reading, I can teach my autistic students about their interests and social interactions. There is a possibility that they have difficulty reading. Through reading, they can learn about social interactions and apply them in the real world. I provide them with visual aids to help them better understand what they are reading. I also allow them to ask questions and discuss their reading with others. This helps them learn better and helps them build relationships with their peers. Because my students are non-verbal too, reading books can help them build their language skills by using repetitive or rhyming words, which capture a child's attention. Additionally, reading can expose children to new words and help them generalize recently learned words.

My goal is to improve my students' language and literacy skills, as well as their social skills, through this project.

Students are like gemstones, and we need to provide them with different resources, efforts, and opportunities to make them bright and shine.
