My Project

Earlier this year, we were so lucky to get a class set of Chromebooks from DonorsChoose, which has been life-changing for our classroom! Every morning, we plug the Chromebooks in to ensure that they have a charge for the students, and every afternoon we collect them and store them in a locker. This often results in extra responsibility on the teachers, as well as some Chromebooks not having a full charge.

A Chromebook charging station will allow students to assume responsibility for charging their Chromebook every day.

As they embark on going to high school, we want to ensure that they take responsibility for their educational materials. This station will allow students to be self-sufficient with charging and also allow them to establish a consistent routine. Additionally, this Chromebook station will also provide a safe location in which the Chromebook can continuously have access to a charge even overnight. Lastly, this Chromebook station will help ensure that all have a charged laptop to utilize throughout the day!
