My Project

I am a Teacher of Speech Improvement who works with elementary school age kids with Autism, Emotional disturbances, ADHD/ADD and other language learning disabilities. My students typically have low frustration tolerance and needs lots of encouragement to work on their speech and language skills. I will use the tablet for the purposes of engaging them in virtual activities to work on their speech and language skills as well as use the tablet as a motivator for the students to complete the challenging activities. Electronic devices, such as an iPad can provide my students with the motivation and an engaging way to facilitate their goals.
