My Project

Thank you so much for supporting our 5th graders as they explore new opportunities while participating in the "Annual 5th Grade Live Wax Museum!" This event provides students with the chance to reflect on who they aspire to be in the future. Our 5th-grade class is combining lessons from the past and present to shape their futures.

Each student will select a "famous African American" or "famous woman" and embody that person for the day.

The supplies you provide will empower the students to use their artistic skills to bring their research to life, showcasing important details and fun facts about the individual they’ve chosen. They will create a trifold display, decorated with pictures, drawings, and key facts to make it visually engaging and entertaining. Additionally, they will dress as their chosen figure, coming "alive" to present a short, memorized speech about their contributions to society.

Our goal is for every 5th grader to experience the lives of these influential individuals and gain insight into the many ways they’ve shaped the world. We hope this experience will inspire students to pursue careers with passion and purpose as they continue their educational journeys.

The children have so much fun that they often forget they’re learning. One of the most rewarding aspects of this event is when they return years later to reminisce about the excitement they felt while participating in the Live Wax Museum. Through dedication and hard work, our students have made incredible academic progress this year, and it would be an honor to offer them a memorable, enjoyable learning experience as a reward for their efforts.

Let’s work together to keep smiles on their faces and encourage their growth!
