My Project

I would love to take the opportunity to introduce my students to the wonderful experience of the Chinese New Year. I have an amazing group of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who come from a very small rural school. They are enthusiastic learners who love learning new things.

One of the opportunities that I would love for them to have is to experience another culture in a unique and exciting way.

Can you imagine learning about Chinese architecture by actually using LEGO to build the most famous landmarks in China? Can you fathom building the lovable panda bear with LEGO? Or maybe you wonder what the cuisine is like in China including snacks.

How memorable would your experience be of China and its rich heritage if these were the experiences that you had? Please help me allow my students to learn in this fun way.
