This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of these books are centered around a theme that has sparked my students' interest this year: the ocean. Though my students live within an hour's drive from the ocean, many seldom get the chance to visit it. These books offer students the chance to go on a virtual whale watching and ocean exploration field trip, and will spark their interests around marine mammals and prepare them for a field trip the aquarium and go whale watching in real life!

These books give students the opportunity to explore the ocean and make up the library that students will use to learn more about ocean animals.
