My Project

I am excited to have an A to Z Summer Countdown with my students this year! We will start in April and end in May on our last day of the school year. Each day we will have a theme using each letter of the alphabet. I will supply some items, kids will bring some things from home, and the rest will be provided in this project. A Day will be arts and crafts painting magnets, B Day will be bubbles and bouncy balls, C Day will be sidewalk chalk to use outside, J Day will be jump rope day, L Day will be lollipops, S Day will be wear sunglasses day, U Day will be USA Day with bracelets and necklaces, etc! We will make each day special by taking a few minutes and celebrating our Countdown to Summer. I am in hopes it will keep the kids excited about learning and motivate them to get our work done each day, so we can celebrate with our Countdown activity at the end of each day.

The last several weeks of the school year can be a challenge in the classroom trying to keep kids on task and engaged in their learning and I am excited use these amazing items to keep my kids motivated with this fun countdown.

My sweet kids will also get some pretty cool items to take home and keep them active and engaged at home all summer long as well!
