My Project

Remember the book that sparked your love of reading? First impressions matter, and I want to ignite that same passion for my Pre-K students by introducing them to wonderful books. My ultimate goal is to foster a lifelong love of reading.

I'm requesting a diverse collection of books for our classroom library, hoping each child will discover a story that truly resonates with them.

These books will be enjoyed together, independently, and even taken home – potentially becoming their very first book to own. I believe that children who read become thinkers, and for some of my students, finding that "just right" book in our classroom could be the key to unlocking a world of imagination.

A well-stocked classroom library is more crucial than ever for developing a love of reading. I'm specifically requesting class sets of classic fables, tales, and stories to encourage shared reading experiences at home and spark meaningful family discussions.

As George R.R. Martin said, "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies." I want my Pre-K students to begin their journey of a million lives right here in our classroom.
