Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My school consists of 100 percent of the students that receive free lunch with the majority labeled as having a low socioeconomic status. I would like for students to experience a type of normalcy when it involves after school activities. Painting and diy crafts enhances creativity while increasing self happiness.
My Project
When a person paints, it brings a sense of relaxation and happiness. This project will allow students to trigger their inner talents and paint from home while experiencing a sense of normalcy. Students are able to socialize virtually with other students and share their ideas by encouraging creativity while promoting positivity. These skills will allow students to ease their minds from the sudden change of their everyday living environment they’re currently experiencing. Their piece will allow opportunities for them to discuss and elaborate what the painting means to them and how it connects to their own lives.
