My Project

My students are truly amazing. They each bring their own uniqueness to our classroom which makes it feel like home. Although our class has many things that make it feel home like, it's missing something that truly helps us come together at various time of the day. A place where we share our ideas and thoughts; a classroom rug. Although this may seem like not a big deal, a classroom rug helps bring everyone together. As a class, the rug represents a place where we share are thoughts and ideas, our concerns and fears and many of are engaging moments where we have an opportunity learn new things. This rug represents a variety of uses that not only provide a spot for us to sit, but also allows us engage in social development by allowing us to seat with peers and have meaningful conversations. Everyone has a spot on the rug and no one is left out.
