My Project

Every school year, I have a classroom of 15 amazing four-year-old students who differ in so many ways. One thing that we encourage during our large group activities is personal space.

The carpet squares that we have been using for the past ten years have become tattered beyond belief and are unfortunately ready to make their way to the garbage as we clean and pack our classrooms for the summer.

Please help me in getting new ones for when our new class arrives in September! Not only do these squares encourage personal space awareness, but they also provide a sense of independence as the children are able to set them out on the floor and assist in arranging them as well.
