Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is desperate need of a color printer. I work in a Title I school and funds are limited. I teach a self-contained special education class and the ability to print in color is very important for my scholars as color helps differentiate our lessons. We are currently working on a personal narrative and some of my students need to use their iPads to use the speech-to-text feature and I need to print it out for them. I would also like to publish their essays and have a colorful cover that brings their work to life.

My printer broke and I have no way of making copies or printing last-minute items that support my students when something comes up in class.

Though my students learn at a slower pace, they work very hard. Most of them do not have much and colorful notes and projects make our classroom so much prettier. Thank you for your time and donation.
