Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Mothers play such an important role in a child’s life, and I want to celebrate them in a meaningful way! Every year, moms visit our classroom for a special Mother’s Day celebration, where they spend time with their children, create memories, and share in the joy of learning.

This year, I would love to add beautiful children's books about mothers and families to our classroom library, so my students can enjoy heartwarming stories that reflect their own family experiences.

These books will make our Mother’s Day event even more special. Moms will be invited to snuggle up with their child and read a book together during our celebration, creating a warm and loving atmosphere in our classroom. Afterward, these books will become a permanent part of our library, giving my students access to stories that celebrate love, family, and the special bond between a mother and child throughout the year. Each student will make a special picture frame for their moms.

By supporting this project, you are helping to fill our library with meaningful stories that honor and celebrate moms, while also encouraging a love for reading. These books will not only create beautiful moments during our Mother’s Day event but will also continue to inspire my young learners long after the celebration is over. Thank you for making a difference in our classroom!
