Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our middle school, we have the "WEB program" "Where Everybody Belongs." It's where older students act as mentors to incoming 6th graders, helping them feel comfortable and navigate the challenges of starting middle school by providing support and guidance, with a focus on creating a positive school climate and reducing bullying behaviors.

Our student mentors work very hard to plan different activities for the 6th graders and it is very difficult to explain those activities to about 100 students in an open area.

The speaker system will help create a more inclusive, active learning environment and our student mentors will be able to engage everyone in the different activities they create.
