This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my 13th year as a social worker in a public high school in NYC. My students stop in to say good morning, tell me about their day, and cry when they need to. A snack always brings a smile to their faces quickly. I'm asking for your support to ensure that I always have something to give them.

My students have requested their favorite snacks and I would love to provide them.

Sometimes it's the simple things that mean a lot. Please consider making a contribution and making someone smile.
