My Project

After teaching upper elementary students for many years, I will be moving to 2nd grade this upcoming fall as a 2nd grade math teacher. I will be primarily teaching mathematics to our sensational group of 2nd graders in an inner city school, many of which are English language learners.

Setting these wonderful young learners up for success by providing our classroom with basic necessities is the goal for this project.

It aims to provide our classroom with personal whiteboards and markers for whole group math instruction as well as colorful paper for classroom papers. Other items included in this project include books for modeling a love of reading through read alouds as well as markers and pens. I appreciate any support that you may be able to give to my classroom and I can't wait to meet my students this fall!
