Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a 7th grade, a bilingual Science teacher in the South Bronx, I am lucky to work with students new to the country as well as life long Bronxites. They are as diverse as New York.

No matter what their circumstance, I am always amazed by the interest and understanding my students possess.

They make me want to reach deeper to ensure they reach higher.

My Project

Being able to demonstrate a new concept and watch my students in the video and the chat will mean better support for my students. With one screen now, I must switch back and forth or hope that they are following along.

Two screens literally mean double opportunities for my students.

Access to our demonstrations and their faces or conversations at the same time more closely mimics an actual classroom As we use an online simulation or I guide a student through the balancing of a chemical equation, with two screens I can also watch and respond to the class.
