Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a math teacher in two ICT classrooms. This year my students are a rambunctious bunch with a desire to do well. It has been a pleasure to see their feeling about math go from woes to wow's. To help support a space where taking risks is encouraged I created a cozy corner. At times I have 5 kids asking to "sit on the rug". These items will increase my cozy space and help my students push through our math blocks which are 135 mins long. This will make all the difference.
